These terms are the agreement between you and Oviedo.TO when you use the site. Please read them. By using Oviedo.TO, you agree to them.

Who we are

Oviedo.TO ("we," "us," "the site") is an independent local business directory for Oviedo, Florida, operated by a sole proprietor in Seminole County, Florida. There is no separate company or LLC behind the site at this time. You can reach us at info@oviedo.to.

Using the site

You may use Oviedo.TO to find local businesses and, if you choose, to create an account, leave reviews, or claim a listing. You must be at least 13 years old to use the site and at least 18 to create an account or make a purchase.

Acceptable use

When you use Oviedo.TO, you agree not to:

Break any law or use the site for fraud or abuse.
Scrape, copy, or harvest the directory or its data in bulk without our written permission.
Post false, misleading, defamatory, hateful, or harassing content.
Send spam, advertising, or repeated low-quality content.
Impersonate a business, person, or Oviedo.TO.
Upload anything that contains malware or tries to break site security.
Collect other users' personal information without permission.

We may suspend or remove access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Claiming a business listing

If you own or manage a business in our directory, you can claim its listing. We verify claims with a one-time magic link sent to a business email address (no passwords). When you claim a listing, you agree that:

You are authorized to act for that business.
The information you add or change is accurate and kept up to date.
You will not claim a business you have no right to manage.
We may verify, review, or remove a claim if we have reason to doubt it.

Claiming a free listing does not give you ownership of the listing page itself, and we may keep a listing published as a public-interest directory entry whether or not it is claimed.

Reviews and user content

To leave a review you must sign up and sign in with a magic link. You are responsible for what you post. When you submit a review or other content, you agree that:

It is your own honest opinion and experience.
It is not false, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or illegal.
It is not spam, a fake review, or paid-for without disclosure.
You will not post another person's private information.

License to display. You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it, you give Oviedo.TO a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, copy, and share that content on the site and in connection with promoting the site. This license lasts as long as the content is on the site.

Moderation and removal. We do not pre-screen every review, but we may moderate, edit for formatting, or remove content at our discretion — for example, content that breaks these terms. We are not responsible for opinions posted by users, and a review does not represent the views of Oviedo.TO.

Paid features

We offer optional paid features for businesses, such as enhanced or featured listings. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices, billing terms, and what each plan includes are shown at checkout. Recurring plans renew until canceled. Except where the law requires otherwise, paid features are sold as-is and fees already paid are non-refundable. You can cancel future renewals by contacting us at info@oviedo.to.

Advertising

The site shows advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads do not imply our endorsement of any advertiser, and your dealings with advertisers are between you and them.

Intellectual property

The Oviedo.TO name, rooster branding, design, text we write, and site code are ours and are protected by law. You may link to the site and view it for personal use, but you may not copy or reuse our brand or original content without permission. Business names and marks belong to their respective owners.

Third-party links

Listings and pages may link to other websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Visiting them is at your own risk.

Disclaimer of warranties

Oviedo.TO is provided "as is" and "as available." We compile listing information from public sources and cannot promise it is accurate, complete, or current. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Please verify details directly with a business before you rely on them. See our Disclaimer for more.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Oviedo.TO and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold harmless Oviedo.TO and its operator from claims and costs arising out of your content, your use of the site, or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in or serving Seminole County, Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
