Oviedo.TO is a local business directory for Oviedo, Florida. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We try to keep it plain and honest.

Who we are
Oviedo.TO is operated by an independent sole proprietor based in Seminole County, Florida. There is no separate company or LLC behind the site at this time. You can reach us at info@oviedo.to for any privacy question or request.
Information we collect
Business listing information
Most of the listings on Oviedo.TO are built from information that is already public — business names, addresses, phone numbers, websites, hours, categories, and ratings published on public sources such as Google Maps. We compile this so neighbors can find local businesses in one place.
When a business email address is part of the source data, we keep it private. We use it only to help verify a claim or to contact a business about its listing. We do not publish scraped business email addresses on the site.
Reviewer accounts
If you sign up to leave a review, we collect your email address. We sign you in with a one-time "magic link" sent to that address, so we do not store a password. We also keep the reviews you write and basic records of when you signed in.
Business owners who claim a listing
If you claim a listing, we collect the email address you verify with and any updates you make to your listing (such as corrected hours, a description, or a logo). We may keep records of the claim for our own protection and yours.
Messages you send us
If you email us or fill out a form, we keep your message and contact details so we can respond and keep a record.
Cookies and analytics
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site running, to protect forms from spam (Cloudflare Turnstile), and to understand how the site is used (Google Analytics 4). For details and opt-out choices, see our Cookie Policy.
How we use information
- To build and display the directory and help people find local businesses.
- To send magic-link sign-in emails and claim or review notifications.
- To verify listing claims and keep listings accurate.
- To moderate reviews and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To measure traffic and improve the site.
- To show advertising. We use Google AdSense, which may use cookies to serve ads. See the Cookie Policy for opt-out links.
- To meet legal obligations and protect our rights.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only with the service providers that help us run the site, including:
- Cloudflare — hosting, storage, security, and spam protection.
- Resend — sending transactional emails such as magic links.
- Google — analytics (GA4) and advertising (AdSense).
- Stripe — payment processing for paid listing features. Stripe handles your card details directly; we do not store full card numbers.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to enforce our Terms of Use, or to protect the safety and rights of people and the site.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request a copy, to ask us to delete it, to correct it, and to limit certain uses. You also have the right not to be treated unfairly for using these rights.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some advertising and analytics cookies may count as a "sale" or "sharing" of information under California law. To opt out, follow the steps in our Cookie Policy, or email us at info@oviedo.to with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." You can also use a browser Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor where required.
Your rights in the EU and UK (GDPR / UK GDPR)

How to exercise your rights

Removing or correcting a business listing
If you are a business owner and want your listing corrected, updated, or removed, email info@oviedo.to with the business name and address. You can also see our information accuracy and correction notice for details.
Data retention
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Listing data stays while the listing is published. Reviewer and owner account data stays while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep limited records longer when the law requires it or to resolve disputes and prevent abuse.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information, including passwordless sign-in and trusted infrastructure providers. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Children's privacy
Oviedo.TO is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email info@oviedo.to and we will delete it.
International visitors
We operate from the United States, and your information is processed here. If you visit from another country, you understand your information will be handled under U.S. law and this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted on the site.
